Hey what’s up? This is El Tiro. In this popping dance tutorial, we’re going to learn gliding, broken down with strobing and ticking. This is actually part two, part one, if you haven’t seen that, it’s gonna be right here, click on that to catch up to speed. If you are ready to go, let’s loosen up, let’s get started. Using the popping dance concept in the first how to dance tutorial of kind of running in place, we’re gonna do the same exact thing except we’re gonna be chopping up our motions of our feet which will naturally gonna chop up all of our body which can define our strobing or ticking effect. So we start with our left foot in front, right foot in back on its toe. I’m gonna do little mini hops and I’m gonna switch my feet’s place. I’m gonna go, 1 2 3 4 5 6. When I push that, they’re gonna switch. I will do the same thing. I’m using 6 or 5 or maybe 7 steps in between doesn’t have to be exact, as long as you have that consistency throughout the footworks. So again, I’m switching, 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5. I think this is pretty simple. If you’re having trouble, just go slow… 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5… and then try to pick up your pace. And then when you had it down, you can start to get tonight’s rhythm. And right now, I’m just doing a running or marching stance as I step. Once you had that down, you can add your arms, and here’s a couple variations that have a really cool holistic kind of ticking or strobing effect. So first one, I’m gonna break down my running. And every single step, I’m gonna be switching them, kind of in that strobe light effects. I’m gonna go 1 2 3 4 5 6… 1 2 3 4 5 6… I’m gonna do those with my arm and my legs. It looks like this… 1 2 3 4 5 6… 1 2 3 4 5 6. And I can keep it continuous. Next one we can do is just moving your arms up and then moving your arms down with that choppiness, okay? Make sure you’re really flexed and so you can have that really jagged, kinda strobed trick. Ready? Let’s do it. The last one that I’m gonna train you is actually doing a ticking or strobing like of wave. So I’m just gonna break down my body parts for my waves, I’ll go… 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5… 1 2 3 4 5.
